Marion County Sheriff and Jail

For current county custody, jail information, or a focused public-records request, contact the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. Business hours published by the county are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. A written Missouri Sunshine request should identify the person, approximate event date, arresting agency, and specific record sought, and ask for a fee estimate.

Choose the Right Records Route

Different agencies maintain different parts of an event.

  • Use the Marion County custody and records page for the MCSO roster and county request path.
  • Use Hannibal PD, Palmyra PD, or Monroe City PD when that city agency handled the event.
  • Use Case.net for a public court case and disposition question.
  • Use Missouri DOC Offender Search for separate active state custody or supervision status.
  • Use BOP or ICE locators only when facts support federal or immigration custody.

Questions about this private resource can be directed through its site contact channel. Agency custody, release, court, and records questions must go to the originating office.
